3/26/09: Closed to meet deadlines, but…

…here’s a good chance to mention Phineas and Ferb. There’s no real political content to this cartoon on the Disney HD channel (maybe also available on other Disney outlets), but it’s the best show we’ve seen in a long time. All the kids are likable and industrious, the running secret-agent parody is superior to any Austin Powers film, and Isabella Garcia-Shapiro and her Fireside Girls are an impressive alternative to the evil Bunny Scouts of Max & Ruby. The theme song even mentions nanobots.

Also, for you music fans, here’s the ultimate posting on Stuff White People Like. We’ll be back on Tuesday with a new entry that’s almost hip.
