The 10 Best Conservative Horror Films

It might seem strange for RightWingTrash to end (and begin again) with something as dopey as a list of the 10 Best Conservative Horror Films. If there’s been one constant here, though, it’s been my disdain for what passes as pop-culture commentary in the conservative market. I’ve seen some pretty dull lists celebrating conservative horror films. This is my modest attempt to provide some decent reading for anyone who might run the term on a search engine. All the titles below link to entries here. So, before anyone can think up other embarrassing constants to this site, here they are…

    10)   Alone In The Dark (1982)

    9)     Dawn of the Dead (2004)

    8)     Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007)

    7)     Scream and Scream Again (1970)

    6)     Shaun of the Dead (2004)

    5)     The Hills Have Eyes (2006)

    4)     Earth vs. The Spider (1958)

    3)      Slither (2006)

    2)     The Devil In Miss Jones (1973)

    1)     The Omega Man (1971)

Also, I should probably concede that my big #1 film has been mentioned in other conservative publications. My entry, however, was originally published in 1997—and I’ll bet that nobody else has ever brought up the Room 222 connection.
