I just saw one of the creepiest moments in the history of earnest lesbian dramas. You’ll have to wait to hear about that. Deadlines are keeping me busy. You can, however, enjoy
this new article about my bizarre experiences in the drive-ins and multiplexes of Birmingham, Alabama. I had to narrow down the list from a lot of stories, but you’ll get an idea of why this trash fiend didn’t spend the ’80s wishing he was in Times Square. (The article doesn’t even touch upon Birmingham’s UHF stations, which would routinely air entire weeks of Andy Milligan and Cheri Caffaro films. The stations also broadcast a few movies that I would later hear described as lost films.)
Also,
McBeardo.com is continuing its countdown of The Top 100 Cult Movie Nude Scenes of all Time. Even if you’re not interested in the nudity, this stroll down Mammary Lane (with plenty of stops in Times Square) is plenty of fun for any fan of trashy films. Educational, too. It doesn’t look like The McBearded One will be getting around to the most political movie in the
Emanuelle series, but that’s okay. That scene in the earnest lesbian drama has already creeped me out enough today. We’ll worry about politics next week.
